Hi all.

I am a newbie in W800i, just got mine this morning from T-Mobile.

I have found two problems in my W800i.

1st one (most important), my W800i calls others without showing the phone number by default. For e.g., if I can you using my W800i, on your mobile you just saw No ID caller or whatever, without my number.

I do not know how to change it in my W800i. I read some posts here, they said that in Setting -> Call, there is an option called "Show/Hide phone number", but in my W800i, there is no.

And some other threads said before I call a number, I can choose "show/hide..." from "More" menu. I again don't have that option in "More".

I also updated my firm from sony erricson update service, still no extra options for show/hide number. I have found two manuals on the web of SE, one is regular one, the other is regular + "Add On". in the latter one, it says Setting -> Call -> show/hide number, but in the first one (the first one is the print which is associated with my W800i in the package) doesn't have.

Any one could tell me how to do with this ???

2nd question (not problem), can someone tell me more about flash the firm to have my W800i have the language of Chinese or other language? the link of http://www.davinciteam.com/ needs money. any other free flash firm or similar things?

and about the firm file, what is APAC file?

Have you try this?

Menu -> Setting -> Calls -> Show or hide no. -> Show number

That is the problem which I mentioned in my post.

I don't have that option in menu - system-call

It is wierd.

After select the "Setting" in Menu, have you push the joystick to right direction three times?

Yes, I know there is a tab named "Call" in Settings

under the tab of Call, there are four options:

1. divert calls
2. manage calls
3. time & cost
4. Handsfree

then a white line. there is no other option.

I have used SE update service to update the software in my W800i, but still only 4 options there

By the way, my W800i is from T-Mobile.

is it possible that T-Mobile has banned this function?

By the way, in the afternoon, my W800i can show phone number on other mobiles when calling others.

Now, the problem is how if I want to hide my phone number ???
