Hi, I have a SE K750i phone that i'm having problem with, the problem is in the earphone, whenever someone calls me or i call someone the earphone volume is very low and can't be adjusted via the service menu >*
also when i set the earphone volume up in the service menu there is no sound increase it stay same with no change that means its a bug with the software here.
does anyone have same problem ??? if so please post a reply and tell me whats the solution to it.

when using a handsfree, is the volume low then as well? if not, then it's probably a faulty speaker.

I tried to use the headset and the mic that came with it it seems the volume ok better but why is the phone is not saving the volume setting in the service menu?? it always stays on 3 and when i turn it up no sound changes always the same.

the servicemenu is only used to test the speaker/volume, not to set the volume level during calls...

The question is... is it a problem?.
Because many people have the same "problem".
I can change the volume with the + and - button, but it never
sounds so loud as in the service menu.
But this means that the speaker isn't damaged.
So maybe it something standard from SE or it has something to do
with the firmware.

So in my opinion it has something to do with the firmware, thus it is probably a setting made by SE.

ya i understood Renzo, but are ya talking about your V600i that is acting this way or the SE K750i ?
for both phones all i know there is a software bug i guess and SE doesn't admit that coz maybe they run out of options of how to fix this bug and they keep telling people to update to the latest firmware version for SE K750i which is R1B002.
If you got anything new just post it thanx for your time and effort.

A friend of mine also bought a V600i and had the same problem
with the low earphone volume.
So perhaps it is some sort of characteristic for SE phones.
If someone can change the firmware version, then i think it is possible to set the standard earphone volume to a higer value.
