Hi guys,

I was wondering if someone of you guys could direct me to any drivers for the w800i for the 64bit windows. The normal drivers for this ofcourse won’t work.
So if any of you guys could please tell me if there are any 64 bit drivers and pc suite for the w800i.
I want to swith to windows xp 64bit. But the only thing stopping me is the fact I don’t have any 64 bit drivers and so won’t be able to connect my phone to the computer anymore.

I have the same problem with many software; why don't they just compile both 32 and 64bit SW

i think the same. althoug it does take time to work them out. but it seems that the company from which they are using the usb chip in w800i hasn't produced any beta drivers. so sonyericsson doesn't have any drivers they can use to base their drivers on.

but i think that's kind of a lame excuse. se is a big company i think they could really push that company to at least get their work started on those drivers so SE can deliver some 64 bit drivers. cus this is crazy. the only thing backing me off from win64 is the drivers for my phone. and that's kind of lame to be honest.

so anybody know of any drivers that can be used with the usb cable and w800i on win xp 64 bit?

I'm afraid there are no 64-bit drivers as yet. Personally I dual boot 64 and 32-bit Windows primarily due to driver issues. Acually, I triple boot in to Vista Feb CTP too, but that's just for test purposes.

There are still no 64-bit drivers available I am afraid. It looks like SE will not release any drivers for this platform - at least until Vista comes out. They can't ignore the hundreds of thousands of people with a 64-bit OS then .
