> T68i - data cable drs-11 & Winxp - no luck
Bookmark topic
I'm having no luck getting my T68i detected by my computer using the DataCable DRS-11, i am running Windows XP SP1 and have installed the Mobile Phone Monitor (both my Com ports are enabled) but my phone just isn't detected.
I have tried restarting the comp - trying different ports - re-installing software but non of them work...
How do i go about getting it working?

Like i said in a previous thread, the phone has been detected. WindowsXP will not tell you its seeing the phone, you're gonna have to initiate the communication of your phone and PC.
Have you tried using MyPictures or XTNDConnect? Try one of these softwares just so you're sure the phone isn't being detected.

I have the DRS-11 from SE too... I set the Phone icon to Pop up always - It have an X over the toolbar icon (wen i try to sent in MyPictures the logo doesnt have the X over it tho) - but no phone is still detected...
I have a few Room-mates with Computers so when they wake up i'll see if i can get it working on any of there computers. Also one of my roomates has a normal T68 so i will see if it detects his phone.
Ohh the joys of getting the phone connected are endless

i'm using xp pro and drs-10 and t68mi. no prob with phone detection.
the mobile phone monitor is just basically what you need...
so if you have that, you might just have to tweak some things to make it work..

Wen i use the scroll down function on the side of the phone and it brings up some status - it tells me GPRS is not allowed - would this in any way effect the connection to the computer? and if so how can i fix it

I think better get a bluetooth port for your PC you can use it with all the mobile phone even you change it
