when i plug my phone into charge a red light comes on in the power button , what does this mean??

help would really be appreciatted as i have not had much more than a week.

cheers mate , nice to b here , glad i got at least 1 reply even though 8 ppl viewed this thread.

I am going back to carphone warehouse tomorrow , just wondering if i could fix it efore then , i am nt sure about my warranty and i will feel really stupid if the prob is easily fixed.

EDIT: i only bought it about 10 days ago and my ad didnt take extended warranty , so 1 year is the default warranty??

sorry if the questions i this thread are daft but i'm only young.

Just take it to them and see what they say. If you do anything now, you may void the warrenty, if there is any left, and then it will be useless. You should have a year since it was bought, so I can almost guarentee there is warrenty as this phone wasnt out this time last year.

@mac - I understand your dilemma here mate Just don't do anything to the phone that might VOID the warranty, say, like ALTER it an ANY way You can still try charging it every now and then etc. . . . say some prayers to go along with it if ever, as MIRACLES may do . . . HAPPEN still ! Good Luck . . . bring it back to the seller - ASAP!

@mac - Nope, what you did are NOT 'alter' mate. Those are FURTHER . . . What I meant by ALTER are like: Upgrading the Software, Unclocking the fone if it's - LOCKED etc. I hope you can bring it to the seller this weekend mate . . .
