> w810i LEDs flashing bug
Bookmark topic
hi im new here.
i'm from Holland. I just got the w810i Orange branded version in the Orange Shop.
I think i found a bug, try doing the following:
1. Press and hold camerabutton on the right side until you get in camera-mode
2. turn on LED by pressing *
3. toggle a few times from video/picture (i did this 3 times)
4. Wait 1 sec
5. now the LEDs are flashing, whether you are take a picture or not..
see

nevertheless awesome phone with great features!!
and this video has a nice framerate: 1.515152 @ 176x144, according to VLC player

try doing a master reset and see if the flash problem goes away. back-up the files stored on your phone first. also, take out the memory stick before doing a master reset.

in the video, the light stops flashing aftera while. does it happen every time you use the camera? if not, better to just not change between video/camera so quick. cheers

yeh it stopped flashing because i pressed * so you could see the difference. But if i didn't it would've flash eternally.. so basically yes, it happens every time i use the camera...
I thought it might had something to do with me playing with the 'flash-LED-test in the service menu >*
^.^
edit: damn it, master reset didn't help

as you can see edit previous post, it didn't work. I also tried without Memorystick, didn't help...
i really think it is a firmware-issue, and since i got orange branded, i guess i'm taken analy by orange.

Sorry for my usage of dutch in this thread, it was easier to explain to the topic starter what I had to say this way.
