> problem with aitel gprs mumbai

hi guy i am facing a strange problem with the airtel gprs (mobile office).
i am using my nokia 9500 and i connect to my laptop using data cable.
well in 9500 i am able to surf well . in my pc after login to YAHOO MESSENGER i cant add frens in my friends list ,when i click add button it does nothing and give error message :-your request has taken longer than expected to complete.the operation may have succeded plz check the messenger list .but when i check the messenger list nothing happens .everytime i face this problem .and mostly i cant login in to the chat rooms and voice chat is also avaible sometime ..this is a big problem plzz help me guyss.if there is some proxy settings then plz let me now .and for ur information i dont have any anit virus like norton and neither any virus in my laptop ..
