Now many of you who know me know I generally have allot of phone, but today I have achually downgraded from my p910i/d600/k750i and nokia 8800 (all sold but the d600, will also have some others for sale soon like a w900i and n70 etc)

If the title didnt give it away today I downgraded my main phone (p910i) to a nokia 6822 (last week from a d600 to 6310i) and bloody love it. The 6822 is lacking almost all the most modern features, it has a small and scummish screen (a mear 65k), it has tiny intenral memory with no expansion slot, it has a vga camera 0.3mpx, but I love it for 3 main reasons.

1: It cuts away all the shit you never use like mp3 player and good camera - I have a ipod and z1 - 5mpx camera at which I do not need a phoen to take those average pics, or spend ages fafing about with medioka headphones and a small msmory card every time I want to listen to music.

2: it has a full querty keyboard that has large buttons that are easy to press and it feels good in your hand when you flip it open and start texting etc

3: kinda going along point number one - its simple and doesnt try to make me use all these features I don't want or need, I make calls, text on my phone I don't bother with all these crap games or stupid programs. But its also small and light (comaptable to a w810i or k750i/w800i) but feels allot sturdier then any of these, I really trust the build quality.

I recomend to anyone to go out (or hunt ebay like I did) for one of these as they are so cool, and just well amazing. (this is not something I ever thoguht id say about a nokia) - I would like a e70 now, but thay aint out yet

it was brand new, I made a offer on one on ebay, and the peerson took it which surprised me, it only ended up being £54 delivered which was really good as looking at them some were going for up to £100 used. I must say I am really pleased with it, it has really blown me away, and renfoced my views that the old nokias are so much better then the new ones

I must say that i have always been a huge fan of the nokia 6822 for its unique stylish design and full querty keyboard,but never found the courage to take the plunge and get one,as its against my religion to ever own a nokia.

Having said that the New E70 looks even more tempting....i must repent!

I'm glad you're happy Luke!

My sister had the 6820 and it was repulsive, especially the numerical keys but that's just personal opinion!

The updated version does look a tad better too imo.

@ axxxr - I plan on getting a e70 along with my p990 and m600 when they come out, but have no idea which to keep when I get them all as each seem to have their advantages.

@ fatreg - I personally love the keyboard, I cant text on a normal phone these days do need me a querty, but I love the simplicity of it all.

@ vein - I agree about the 6820 - my dad had one and it was allot bigget and looked worse, but the 6822 seems smaller and allot nicer (design wise) but its so weird having such a small screen as I am used to a p910i/xda size and this is mini lol
