> z300 to buy

hi, i'm new and i have nokia 3220. last year i had a t290a. when i saw the z300 i fell inlove with it, do u think i should buy it? (i know is a step down from the nokia but i just love sony ericsson) (z300 its not yet on my country but will be in a couple of months) (by the way the nokia was a gift. i didnt buy it)

I wouldn't recomend it. it would be a downgrade froma the nokia. a bit over halve MB memory, no camera, STN screen. very limited. If you like the clamshells consider Z520 or W300/Z530. cheers

i dont care about the camera, cause i have a digital camera that i carry with me everywhere. i dont like camera phones. and i have an ipod so i dont care about mp3 either.
my options are z300 and k300 since i don't have a lot of money.

really great with Java aplications and games ! man I can play Battleground on that phone for hours ! whereas my T630 doesn't support it fully though. great phone.

yeah T630 has a better screen and form factor, but its just outdated for me. I mean K500 sould be somewhere like a fusion of K300 and T630, but without bluetooth. I like the fact that K300 works very fast: changing themes, loading Java, etc. also the MP3 tones, some are really funny. then quite decent memory for budget phones: 12MB ! and the feel of the softkeys is pleasant too, metallic. the joystick on T630 is harder than on the K300. But having tried the T610; man, that's a perfect joystick!! all in all, I recommend the K300. cheers
