my mom bought me a phone yesterday.. a Sony Ericsson k300i for only P6500.. it's my first time, actually, to be using a sony ericsson phone.. enweiz, the phone's cute enough.. the camera jz fits the price.. it lacks fm radio, but it's ok coz im planin to by an mp4 player.. moving on.. i've read from the internet that it can be connected to any computer through a usb port/cable, so we bought one.. but when i pluged it in my pc, my phone jz gave me the message: optimized charging (the same message the phone dsplays when being charged) meaning, the port just charges the cp through the computer but no exchange of files going on.. how's that? can i not transfer my files using such cable? im afraid our pc's not infrared capable.. are there other ways possible for me to transfer my files from my mobile to my pc and vice versa? hoping for good replies..

secondly im sure you can buy ir adapters for your pc which also transfer data faster than cable.
