Hi all,

First time posting etc... I have had a read through but haven't seen anyone else posting about this problem. I hope someone can help!

My K750i has just started doing something very weird - when I open the lens cover to take a picture, it goes to the camera screen for about a second (with a black picture) then flicks back. If I go into the menu and select 'camera', if thinks for a split-second then the screen just jumps as if loading the main menu again.

Anyone have any ideas what this could be or how I could fix it?

Thanks

try a firmware update , it should fix the problem
if not take it to and demand that they should look at it or demand a new one

Thanks!

Since I'm a newb, can you point me in the direction of a good guide to updating the firmware?

Someone PM'd me to ask, so just to say... I got this problem sorted by reconnecting the camera cable.

Yep it happens when the internal cable between the pcb and cam comes loose, usually happens if you change the fascia..
