> z520: Volume down after changing faceplate

After I put on a new faceplate on my z520, the volume in the phone decreased significantly. I can barely hear people from now on. Speakerphone works fine.
Anybody had the same thing happen?

There is a small piece of rubber attached to the original faceplate where the ear goes. It might have a microchip underneath it. This microchip could definitely be used to increase the volume.
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
Oh well, I'd try to take it off carefully and put it on my new faceplate. Hopefully it will do the trick.
