Last night I flashed my 750i to latest firmware and did a lite forum read. While reading, noticed that you can flash 750 to w800. Get a few new features and such. Did some research and it comes down to new menu, mp3 mode, "more stable" firmware, better sound and a few others.

now I don't care about mp3 mode, but am interessted in better sound and pictures, snappier menues and stable is always better

What I won't like is that centre button becomes media button or something like that.

Now I wonder... Latest Firmware is the same for both phones right? So if 750i matches w800 in stability, sound/picture quality/volume and if menu system is similar to w800 (as fast, as intuitive) than I see no reason to flash my phone. But if I could get a few extra features + all the other improvements, than I'll learn to live with that middle button

Thank you for your time!

I flashed mine up to the W800 as soon as I got it, so I can't really compare the two. But it has been stable, more so than my old K700i anyway! I think the media player allows you to choose songs by band/album which you can't on the 750 - but I may be wrong on this...

There will be same quality on W800 and K750.
However, you will have flight mode and better media player(which actualy is better only in navigation and design, but not in funcionality). But for that you will have to SACRIFICE 'Activity Menu'.

I flashed my K750 to W800... used it for a month and flashed it back to K750
