the RIAA can lick my balls as far as im concerned.
i dont own near on 1k cds to not do what ever the hell i want with them.
I suppose they are against me importing cds from OZ and US because they have different tracks and sleeves?
hold on, hold on!
the RIAA says its not fair? so i've got 1k cds and a 60gb ipod, yet to fill it up i have to use itunes and dl 60gb worth of music?
oh c'mon please....... Mr RIAA, open ya eyes. im not gonna pay for the same song twice (unless i choose to import an OZ/US cd)

Depends on the country you'e in as to what laws pervail. I can't remember if we passed it or not but there was a digital music law going through in NZ that allowed for a copy to a digital music player and I believe a backup copy (lil hazy as never paid any attention to it lol)

Uhh, that link only mentions two differing legal arguments. Has there been a judgement concerning this yet?
Personally, as I don't copy friends CD's or allow them to copy mine, I don't see how a record label can stop me using CD's I've purchased legally in any way I choose.
