Hi all,
I have a v3 i want to sell, but i'm just wondering, how easy is it to replace the faceplates with GOLD OEM faceplate fascias? I'm thinking of buying a faceplate off fleabay and puttin' it on and trying to get more...
Any help is appriciated!
Cheers
Ben

It's not too hard if you have all the right screwdrivers, you need a T4, T5, T6, and preferably an opening tool (plastic) so you don't either damage the phone's facia/chassis, or cut your fingers (like I did once) trying to prise it apart!
You'll need a T3 screwdriver to undo the tiny screw on the flip mechanism behind the battery cover, they can be hard to get hold of and will probably have to get this from a Hong Kong/far eastern seller on Ebay.

do you know how to open cellphones?
if so it's not hard at all...
even if you're a noob open the v3 is about a 5/10 in terms of difficultly i'd say.
I'm doing mine next week....
