Well I'm in Australia - so i'm amazed to see that my phone is located in the United Kingdom with British Approvals Board of Telecommunications (BABT) issuing the IMEI. At least it told me my phone was a W800i. What a waste of time.

looks like it can get everyones phone, but thats about it.

which isnt too strange, because every maker and model is slightly different, with a different style IMEI (like the t630 could have a particular digit in a certain spot letting it know) etc, so its not that suprising. but its cool i guess.

i guess... if you dont know the model of your phone... just enter the IMEI and you will know!

Very much a waste of time - unless you want confirmation of what model phone you have. I just tried my wifes old Nokia 7250i and guess what? IMEI range issued by British Approvals Board of Telecommunications (BABT) and it would seem the phone is located in the United Kingdom. Again, at least it told me the model number of the ph - what a complete suprise that was!
