Wtf is this!
This asshole on ebay is trying to rip me off!
As some may know I had three SD cards, two of which I put on ebay.

I went out in the morning and received these three messages today when I got back.

"Hi I got the memory card this morning upon putting it in my pda and exploring in windows explorer i have found that this memory card as been used the item was advertised as new which it is clearly not as it as a folder on called mistake i noticed you had 2 new sd cards and 1 second haqnd one on your auctions but this item as been used without a shadow of a doubt i would like to return this item as soon as possible and would like a full refund including the postage cost for returning the item which will be £1.56 fully insured and signed and not £6 which you charged me i have the jiffy bag you sent me and according to the postage on this item it was no where near £6 failing that i will contact e bay and let them sort this matter out and leave negative feedback."


Now I should mention, I received emails saying 'why is postage so high?' before the person won, where I replied, I apologize because that was the standard postage that I usually use on other sales and didn't change it, I hope that people will take it into when bidding!

Then I received
"should you wish to call me on this matter please feel free to do so its 07980 709237 or failing that i could call round next week as i am a hgv driver and will be close to colchester thank you."

Obviously this guy is trying to scare me, especially since he knows my address from the return address.

If I was trying to scam him, wouldn't I format the memory card before sending it out?

I then received

"this is the 3rd and final e mail for the memory card dispute you have until 8pm tonight other wise negative feedback will be left and i will contact paypal and e baY REGARDING REFUND."

What the hell? Giving me a deadline??? I wasn't home! It's only been 6 hours anyway!
The problem is, this asshole is going to leave me bad feedback even though I don't deserve it. And hearing all of the horror stories that go on, he'll probably get paypal to take the money out of my account!

No I don't know why this guy thought it was brand new because here is the text from my listing

"I've got three SD cards in total (please see my other listings) two SanDisk 2GB SD Cards brand new and boxed and one Speedy 2GB A-Data card which was used once.

(This listing is for the A-Data 2GB SD Card with case of course and is in the UK) "

The card was sent yesterday and arrived today as well.

What do you guys think I should do?


edit: in summary, I acknowledged to this buyer that the listing may not have been clear, I have offered this person a refund and yet this person still left negative feedback and reported me (however both ebay and paypal sent me an email saying that I have nothing to worry about since I'm not at fault).

problem is, if I close my paypal account how will people pay me for the fascia i sold and the phone with fascia I'm selling? since I already wrote that I can accept it.

try not to worry about the neg, it pissed me off when i lost mine at 420 100%. the guy sounds unreasonable, just put a follow up comment explaining ur side, contact him and tell him the item is as described, read the listing again and reassure him ur not trying to scam him.
