I bought mine from "jns-seller", fast delivery, even over easter weekend.
I think if you check the many sellers you'll see that most of them a genuine. I usually hate using eBay these days - full of rip-off merchants - but couldn't resist the price. I paid more than that for my 128KB card for my p900 a couple of years ago.
It came in the authentic sealed Sony packaging and with a 12 month guarantee - if it's a fake, I don't care!! it's a damn good one.
as for the question about sound quality - I'm not sure i understand?
3 movies, 200 tunes @ 160kbs, 200 pictures, 30 music videos, 30 ebooks - just about full - when do they release the 8GB?!

There's a saying: "If its too good to be true, then its too good to be true"
At that price, I would have to be 1 Million Percent certain of the honesty and reliability of the supplier.
I want a 2GB High Speed Duo, and I am only gonna buy from Sony or a major High Street retailer to minimise the risk of being lumbered with a Super Slow Speed Duo packaged as an original High Speed version.
£35, especially if its meant to be a High Speed Duo, is sooo cheap that it would ring alarm bells in my head.

I guess there are fakes and fakes then...
I thought a fake card was (for example) labelled as 2GB when it was really something like 512MB - so a lot of people didn't notice a problem until they put more than 512MB on the card. I would hope that ebay sellers get appropriate feedback for selling this crap.
Are you saying these are fakes because they *do* have 2GB on them but are labelled as Sony when they are made by someone else?
W.
[edit] does the speed of the card really matter in a P series phone or is it only important in a PSP?

In answer to your question, if a card says its Sony when its not then its a fake. Just as buying a Gucci or Rolex only to find it was really made by Mr Crook & Associates of Dodge City.
The big brands e.g. Sony, Sandisk, Lexar have quality control standards that the cowboys aren't gonna bother with.
As for speed of Memory Stick, you should get the fastest you can because you are not gone keep the P910i for ever.
