I'm kind of new to this OBEX thing.
I want to know if its possible to use any software that shows the phone/memory card filesystem via OBEX so i can copy files from the phone to the pc without requiring proprietory software or having to send each file one by one from the phone.
I have a Samsung E880 which needs the PC Studio software to transfer the photos I've taken with it, but its quite a pain so I'm looking for an alternative. Also I'd like to preserve the original date and time of taking the picture.

Your Bluetooth USB adaptor should come with a file explorer on the CD, which uses the OBEX ftp and allows you to add or delete multiple items easily.
Did yours not come with that ?

The software that came with my BT dongle was rejected by XP and wouldn't install. XP SP2 only allowed me to transfer 1 file at a time.
Fortunately I found
MyPhoneExplorer. It's
compatible only though, won't work with a Samsung. MPE is one of the reason's I continue to buy
phones.
