> .IND files on my MS?

I bought a 1 GB MS from my friend last week. It works fine, but when connected to PC, it shows that there are these "hidden" files:
0 bytes each. They all are shown in my "Sounds" folder (wonder why...) as unrecognizable files (with that blue icon besides them).
I just wandered is it ok to delete them or are they actually SYS files of my MS? I didn't have them on my 64 MB card...
