My K750i does not have a joystick. Is it possbile to buy 1 from the phone shop and place it in myself or does it need to be done by an expert. they guy said $50 for check up and do we have to get the check up done? or can he just put the replacement joystik in?

Thanks

search ebay for the part. some users here might have one. you CAN do it yourself, but you need to be EXTREEMLEY careful.

Lol, you wna know how old i am ? im 13 i am not really careful in enything i do. but their are no parts from australia. all overseas. i opened the phone myself tho. and the last time i done that . they keaypad broke fof. n i had to put all the parts togther. i regret buying this phone off ebay . camera works for 1 second then shuts down . and joystick.. well there is none but for $200 i couldnt resist.

Enyways is their a site that shows you how to put the joystick in or anything lol

someone here might have a guide, but i dont know where to find one.

your 13, how did you buy something off ebay? (im not discriminating against your age, no point, i loves phones when i was 13, im only 20 now... well almost 20)

HONESTLY my advice is... put it back on ebay and buy another one

i went to the phone repair shop. the guy goes. did u open the phone? and i said yes i did to take the joystick out. and he just looked at me in shock. either my head was going big. or he was amazed that a 13 year old could open the phone by him self lol

@joga - I have a 5 year old nephew who can OPEN a celfone, all it took him was just a simple - 'hammer' Kidding aside, you can directly, ask the repirman about the service/installation fee etc. from there you will know if it's worth replacing it . . . or selling it. Good Luck!

I just read about putting the joystick on its pretty simple and basic , but at the same time you have to be cautios. because if u accidently press it onto the wrong part of the techinical pad then u have to buy a new joystick. so ill let the expert do it and if he stuffs up , he pays for the next 1 not me
