It may not be a virus as such but it’s a vulnerability people should perhaps be aware of.
I assume it affects symbian phones as it mentions it is similar to the Comm Warrior virus.
You might care if you found yourself paying for things you didn't request?

I suddenly feel better about having low balances on my card *lol* . . . . must say, other manufacturers making UIQ phones does increases the risk. Esp'ly Blokias are a favorite with these Virii writers.. a little perverted, but Creativity it is.. have to admit with those who make such..

Actually is not a virus as such, is a way/scam of exploiting the naivity of the vast majority of cell users ! The idea is this: register with your prefered cell provider a collect account. Might have some other name in your country. All phone calls or sms's send to that account/tel.nr. will be charged the normal rates by the cell company + some profit for your self which you can claim from the cell company (they will charge you a small management fee thou). All what you have to do now is : send some desperate sms to a 'victim' (random or otherwise). Make sure that is of such nature and importance to make the other side reply. Even a short 'yes' or 'no' will do. Most people will never check their phone bills and even if he does he can't do much about it because he replied out of his/her own will. Is a dirty one and is not really a virus and yes it does work :-( Greetings from South Africa. Mario :-)

A bunch of "experts" having nothing better to do than coming up with hypothetical chaces, that are slim to none really happening.
