> New W810 Chinese copy

Seems this time the Chinese people didn't bother to change the Walkman logos and branding:

And this is the ultimate w800's chinese copy:

Even the Icons and Menus seem to be the same as in the origininal.

Are they not getting sued for these pirated copies?

you can't really say it's ugly since the premise of the w810 design is still there. the small changes they did though (location of the card slot, and is that a standard phone jack i see?) looks like theyre design afterthought, unlike who puts in at least one bit of intelligence on aesthetics
i wonder what these people are thinking when they rip off 's designs and think they'll get away with it. if it's actually legal in china (heck, piracy is legal in taiwan after all), arent there international laws?
CS-T68: i find it fascinating, someone from China finds this ugly

will they be ever able to design and manufacture on their own? i dont think so. it would be really interesting to see, when ///, nokia and moto would stop design and manufactuire fones. what will they do then? copy the cheap copoies of each other?

If you look down the page, you'll see that this is a "SanyEricsson"
Not only that, but they do indeed have "NOKUA"' phones aswell

Man... It's fascinating in a perverse sorta way. How do they do that? I was blown away when I saw the catalogue, how is it even possible to get away with all that? I had to take a second look at my phone just to reassure myself that it wasn't a copy.
