Hi, i trying to install shozu application to upload photos to flickr. My problem is that application install fails because i cannot validate the signed jar. My phone only have one java certificicate from SE. I have read in other post that the common certificates are VeriSign WTLS and Baltimore WTLS.
Is there any way to install the new ones? How can i do that?
Thanks. (Sorry for my English)

haven't you updated/unlocked your phone with davinci or similar non-official sony ericsson service software? it looks so, because unmodified sony ericsson phone lists 'sony ericsson', 'geotrust uti', 'thawte premium' and 'verisign class 3' certificates for java usage. the problem is not in sony ericsson itself, but in creators of the non-official service software. their software is "forgetting" to copy java certificates after modifying phone software.
if you've got sony ericsson service cable (also known as 'cruiser cable') and some technical knowledge, contact me and i'll try to help you.
if not, visit nearby service centre (probably not the original sony ericsson one, because you've lost warranty after using non-official service software) and tell them, you want to copy 'verisign class 3' certificate for java into your phone.

For as regards me, I used Davinci, because of an upgrade failed.
But then i upgraded again with the last release R1B with SEUS.
Anyway i remember thar certificates can be sent to the phone via BT, and automatically are installed, but maybe this is not valid for java certs.

my service center is far away from me.

yes, as you assume, it's not valid for java certificates. these had to be copied directly into phone with service program and service cable.
service program for k750/w800 could downloaded from internet (cracked one), but service cable had to be borrowed/bought (dcu-60 from phone original package is not enough).

Hi, I used Davinci too to upgrade my firmware and change the language. I have discussed this problem with them but the say that their firmware has all the certificates on it, but i downloaded it through the program ftp, so i doubt it. Iīm thinking on buying the service cable, but i donīt know if itīs very difficult to add new certificates. Anybody can explain the process?
Many thanks and regards.

certificates are not stored in original firmware, but they are added into phone in phase called finalization (together with customize.xml file etc). and whatever they're saying, it's their problem, but because not many people have discovered it and reported the problem to their support website, they are not focusing on solving it.
btw: the davinci web support is really horrible, i've got an open ticket there for several months with no progress.

basically. it's not very difficult. just copying 3 missing certificates into your pc (e.g. c: drive) and running script like this
c:Utiroot.cer
/tpa/preset/custom/Utiroot.cer
c:ThawtePremium.der
/tpa/preset/custom/ThawtePremium.der
c:VeriSignClass3Root.cer
/tpa/preset/custom/VeriSignClass3Root.cer
with setool2.
