I just bought my W800i for 1 week now. Today I downloaded the
Sony Ericsson Update Service (SEUS) from the SE website and installed it hoping to update my firmware.
Downloaded :- UpdateService_Inst_2.6.4.9.exe ; Version 2.2.13.7d
I followed the procedure a few times and the SEUS kept on detecting my phone as K750i instead of a W800i. So i thought this was normal (since there was so much talk about K750i & W800i being the same) so I proceed with the flashing.
After the flashing, my phone acted like a K750i (i think). The Walkman button is not functioning, the Walkman option is replaced by the Media Player and etc etc....
Can anyone teach me or point me to the method of reflashing it back to W800i ? I feel so so so SAD :'( .... Pls Help....

I think it's not the original W800 the first time you bought it,instead it is a K750 flashed by W800 F/W and dressed in W800 housing..Therefore,SEUS recognizes it as K750 and when using SEUS it automatically returns the phone to K750. Return the phone to where you bought. Is that really under official SE warranty? If not,you're just cheated..
