The pictures are on the memory card and when u connect the USB cable, the phone cannot access the memory card so it seems to you as though the pictures have disappeared

Doesnt the PC auto detect the memory card ? have u installed the k750 USB drivers ?

nope that wud just install the SE PC suite.

When u connect the K750 using the USB cable provided, the new hardware found wizard pops up, and u must install the drivers from the CD..

After plugging the phone in, I click on "My sony ericsson", this brings up"phone memory"when I click on this it brings up 5 folders,1 of which is "pictures". if i click on this it brings up icons of the default pictures that are with the phone, and "camera_semc"when i click on this it is empty??even though I have photos on the phone

Yes, u are using SE's pc suite by clicking that My Sony Ericsson icon. So u are viewing the k750's phone memory and not the memory card memory.

When u connect the k750, does a new removable drive appear under My Computer ? Similar to what happens when u connect a USB pen drive ?

In that drive u will find a DCIM folder inside which u will find ur pictures

The k750 drivers are there on the CD, i'm not sure whether they're zipped or unzipped, if they are zipped, unzip them to a temp folder

Right click my computer, goto properties -> hardware tab -> Device manager

In that there must be some entries with a yellow question mark icon next to them, double click those and select Re-install driver,

In the driver installation wizard, select the 2nd option "Install from a list...."
and in the next screen, select "include this location in the search", click browse and point to the folder where the k750 driver files are located...
Repeat the same for all the yellow question mark icons...

This shud hopefully solve the problem

edit : What ? did that last reply solve ur problem ??? and i typed out such a long solution for nothing ??
