I've just replaced my screen. Now my camera wont register when i open the lens cover. I think the micro switch is broken. Any suggestions.

bring it to an sE service. do u still have warranty? however i am afraid, after your own action the warranty is gone, but who knows... maybe if u ask them very nice, they fix it for u.

1) Make your own switch
2) Open the lens and Go into Camera Mode Manually
3) Send it to SE (Since you opened it, You can't)
4) Buy a whole new camera flex cable like this
