Well, ever seen twins with two decades between them?
Here's a 1986 make W800 Walkman with a 2006 make W800 walkman!
Interesting, isn't it? And both the walkmans were pioneers of their own eras too.
Anyone got ideas on more such similar "twins"?

the 1986 w800 was one of the first things like it of its time i believe. and it was so nice then. same with the w800 now, its one of the newest and nicest things, so i believe it could be named after it.

I personally own the `86 walkman W800, but as a kid, i messed around with it damaged it - and now I repent so much....it was a masterpiece, a rare beauty. It even used to have a mic attachment and stereo (L+R) audio recording, Dolby, NR and lots more.
ANy ideas where i can get it fixed? Too sad the local Sony guys can't help me out.
And as of the '05 walkman, it's a masterpiece allright, only if I cud change it's color scheme....LOL
