hey quick question?
has anyone noticed problems with the walkman function after updating to the new R1BC002 firmware? When I go into the track listing and scroll down thru my tracks it gets to certain ones ,my W800 then crashes, resets and turns back on. I have since rolled back to the previous firmware and it seems to have fixed the problem. Just wondering has anyone else noticed this problem?

I've noticed that problem with my w800 also.
Other thing that happens to me is when I go to tracks list (instead of artist) when i'm scrolling down to select a music it freezes my phone...

seem to have solved the problem by putting all my tracks into the mp3 folder as opposed to the audio folder. Phone hasnt crashed in a while. Didnt have the other problem you mentioned. Another thing i noticed is that the tracks dont come up instantly, it seems to take a while to access them when first opening the list. has anyone else noticed this? am assuming its cos I have a lot on the memory card.

yea a shorter battery life... maybe you got abit excited with yer firmware and kinda use it often. tho ive found that somethins fishy with mah batt life. and so ive make it a point to recharge every now and then... i wouldnt let the percentage go down below 50%.. ill recharge it automatically.

it does this when I go into tracks and try to access the music before the fone has finished reading the tracks off the card. thought it mite be due to the memory card but tried a different one and it does it too! kinda irritating.
try this and see if it does it on ur fone
1. Select WALKMAN from main men
2. Select Tracks from walkman menu
3. As soon as the fone goes into the tracks start to scroll down.
Its at point 3 my fone will crash without fail. You can see the scroll bar at the side getting smaller as it recognises the tracks. It wont crash if I wait until they have all be seen by the fone.
