I have a 30gb ipod video, and I have been used to using my W800i for music and the battery life on that is awesome but ever since I switched to my ipod it has gone down hill. Every night it’s on charge and it’s annoying. If you want to lug around an ipod then only do it if you think you are going to use the space available to you i.e. 60gb. If not go for a nano (I suggest with a protective case) or go for a walkman phone or smaller mp3 players. I bought mine because I am materialistic and I think it looks cool!

Battery life is great, a quoted 20 hours of music! I'm guessing about 10 for me without charge, as I use equaliser and high volume etc. For movies it's 3 hours. Not bad

Yeah, I have a 30gb Ipod video, and I use it daily on my car everytime I go out with my friends, with my girl, on the way to job, everytime.
I just put in my car's vent holder, connect it to my sound with an rca cable, and connect it to the power charger cable in case it has a low battery.
And if I want to put videos, I just select them and have a small screen on my car .
Though I prefer waay better my 30gb Ipod than the 60gb, because even the 30gb is a little bulky, the 60 it's worse, by the way...I'm very happy with mine .
