My W810i is on Orange (UK) and so doesn't have the Update Service feature but it does have "Device Mgmt." in the Connectivity settings, which asks me for account details etc.

Doea anyone know what this is for and whether this is an access to the Update Service or something?

I don't know what to put in the account details and I have no idea of how to get an account to enter the details of!

Thanks, I saw that thread previously but apart from the web address, all the other fields on there say 'void'. Inputting the account like this, on the phone, does not work.

What's supposed to go in those fields??

Put in server address (https) . For server ID , enter void. Thats all you need to do

Works like a charm - lol

Well blow me down and call me Susan! It does work afterall. Wonder what I was doing wrong last time - maybe putting in 'Void' with a capital V, maybe.

Says I have the latest software/FW version, so that's good anyway.

Does this feature allow you to do an over-the-air SW/FW update then when a new one is released?
