Hello,

After a month trying to use the emails on my T68 with the provider Proximus, I FINALLY SUCCESS TO DO IT !!!

So, since 19/01 Proximus offer (for free until April) 20mb Gprs data trought MOBILE INTERNET.
(and I was paying 20€ for 2mb/month for the wap access via GPRS! tssss)

Now, you must phone to proximus to access the MOBILE INTERNET for free. (stop your 2mb/month)
You have to acces it via a new APN:
"INTERNET.PROXIMUS.BE"

With this one, I can retrieve all my yahoo, Iblegique, Wanadoo emails on my T68.
I love that.
But after April, that will be 50€ for 20mb/month. (arrghh )
So Try it now for free.

This morning, I hate Proximus.
Now, I LOVE PROXIMUS !!!

If you need more informations, contact me here.

bye bye

Sorry, I hate Hotmail, and I don't think it accept POP3 settings.

It's not a problem with the phone or with Proximus.
It's just that Hotmail don't offer the POP3 services. (I think)

Sorry

Salut Jim,

Oui je parle francais.
Que souhaiterais tu avoir comme informations?

En premier lieu, tu dois aller voir là:
http://www.proximus-interactive.be/fr/hp_fr.htm

Voilà, A+++

it could be done with which e-mail account you want, the e-mail account must have a POP3 or else it won´t work!

Hi,

can you tell me how to configure the GPRS functions on the T68. I called Proximus, and they activated it. I can see it on the phone; an gave the APN in (internet.proximus.be), but it doesn't connect when I dial *99***2#
Can you help me?
Thanks

bregt you shouldn't have to dial anything! GPRS is not a dialup connection. If you press and hold the Options button (between the Yes and 1 buttons) for about a second and let go the browser should automaticallyt take you to your homepage.

At least, it works that way on my T68i, I can't see why something that simple would be different on the original T68.

Hope that helps

salut Brisefer,
