> T68, R5C001, and serious line problems
Bookmark topic
I use two T68 (i & m), both with R5C001, in Italy with TIM (Telecom Italia Mobile).
Since two days ago, I have not been able to talk at phone because GSM line falls off in a few minute.
Line, sometimes, falls off immediatly and, other times, after several minutes, but soon or late it falls!!
I don't know if this problem is due to R5C bug or to TIM bad working.
I need your help to understand, please.
Who else have similar problem? No one?
Thank you very much for helping me!
Good bye!

Try the SIM card in another phone to check if it's the phone or provider messing up the line. Haven't got R5C yet, so can't give more info on that.

It is hard understand if the problem depends on TIM or on software bug, because it doesn't happen every time I call.
I upgraded my T68 on october, 3rd and two days ago I noticed this orrible problem...

to let you understand our problem i have to add these info:
-the line's fall happens only with t68i and tim
-the same sim card if put in a t39 seems to work properly
-another operator sim put in t68 works well
strange, isn't it?

I think it is because of TIM and T68 with the new R5C...
I never had problems before!
What do you think about?

I have the same problem in hungary at westel! Sometimes when I start a call or get a call I hear the ringing tone, but after answer the line is dropping! I think the reason of this is r5c :(
