> Company of Heros, any pointers?

Hey all sorry about the crappy heading but how else could i have put it
Anyway, i basically am looking for a game that is on par with C&C Red alert (if you consider it back in its day).... i had the newer ones ie: yuris revenge and C&C generals but personally i tought them to be a step down from red alert 2. since then i got trapped in the counterstrike world so i havent tried anytihg new for years... can anyone recommend and good games out there that i could play that will fuel my addiction like red alert 2 did
my pc spec is: athlon 2.2xp, 512 ddr ram, 200gig hdd, geforce 6600GT....
Any games advsie and links to possible reviews or screen shots would be greatly recieved - infact anythign atall would be great, cheers

ps, i do intend on buying this game and donot want any links to dodgy warez sites (thought i better clear that one up)
*ALSO I AINT SURE IF RTS = REAL TIME STRATEGY, but thats what im basically after, also i have tried age of empires but did get on too well with it..... whats world of war craft like? do you have to pay to play that tho? ive seen WC3 cards for sale on ebay - very lost about what that means :S

i forgot to mention my pc is the same as in the first post so nothing too demanding on my lil machine please
