Hi, got a problem with my W800i, when I try and take a picture, it focus and then just goes back to the main screen,

It does sometimes take photos but rarely, I've tried updating the firmware but I'm not sure it worked, any way of checking?

How old is the phone, it can be hardware problem

Try and contact

, or send it to service. I would open it myself, and check it myself;-)

have had absolutely the same issue with my k750

it's a hardware problem, mine was still in warranty so they fixed it for free.
but it's not very expensive

that might be a hardware issue specifically the "camera flex cable" part. the phone might have been disassembled or opened up and that part was taken out and re-seated improperly. below is a link to various parts of the SE W800i available over the internet:
