> black k608?
Bookmark topic
i was browsing around for a 3G phone today, when i came across a black k608! always thought that the k608 only comes in silver. so anyways i asked the shop assistant and was told that the model comes in 3 colors, including black.
i looked the phone over, and everything looked legit. black, with same grayish silver side as the regular k608. but what i want to know is which country does it come from/where it is available? is black an official color for the k608? or is it just some cover change? anyone can let me know please? would appreciate it much.

As far as I know there is only a K608i and 608c. Never heard of a black version though.

jc, nope. not the v600 for sure. it's the k608, in a black plastic casing. apart from the sides and the joystick, all else is a glossy black and yeah, it looks a bit cheap-ish. but still, makes a change.
i've checked the sony ericsson webpage, black is not specified as an official color for k608 but if you go to sonyericsson.com/k608, you can see what appears to be a black k608 on the splash screen, showing the back camera shutter.

K608i is available in Indonesia in two colors now. The new black edition just added by May 5, 2006 in Sony Ericsson store in Jakarta.
I have no pictures yet but it was shown in Jakarta's newspaper SE's advertisement.
I'll take the picture from that newspaper and post here later.

Sorry for bad picture quality.
