> Z800 or a K750?

comparing the specs of these 2, i would think they're both similar in every aspect except Z800 is flip, UMTS and lacks a better camera.
but i'm interested to know if the UI is similar, for example the K600's UI is basically same in terms of themes ect. to the K750. also, if i'm not mistaken the screen size for Z800 is larger but same amount of pixels, and is it same quality as the K750?
last bit, is the outer screen as fuzzy as that of the MOTO V3 or better? i can't seem to find any specs on the outer screen, colors ect.
anyone has both these? please do enlighten me, thanks

pros
its different (k750 just looks like 3" of phone)
has 3g (if you need it for video calling)
cons
it is chunky, heavier than the k750
camera is crap tbh
i went from the v800 ~(the voda branded z800) to the w900, then straight back to the v800. if your looking for a clamshell its the best SE one,
if not, the k750 is a superb phone

erm, let me rephrase that a bit. is the menu and UI the same as third generation, i.e. K750 menus with the activity menu and everything? what about the 3G functionality? do you guys think that it's complete, as opposed to say a moto v3x?

I have the V800 and I've found that when the phone closes, the two halves return too close together. As a result dust gets trapped in between and creates symmetrical scratch pattern on what is other wise an incredibly stylish phone.
I can't comment on the V3x but I don't like Motorola UI's in general.
I had a K700 previously and used all it's features. V800 simply blows it away though.
Biggest issue to deal with is that V800/Z800 uses 'old style' connectors and therefore all it's accessories are now considered obselete.
K750i uses new 'pop port' connector for use with latest accessories and carkits but can't connect to BT R/C car (CAR100).
Both phones use MSPD which may be superceeded by Memory Stick Micro (M2). Maybe wait for K800 or V800 sucessor?
I'd choose my V800 over K750i any day. 1.3 Mp camera not as good as 2.0 Mp but still good enough.

dust particles dont cause scratches......where are you putting your phone to get this sort of scratch?
18 months had the v800, the inside is "as new" condition, the outside on the other hand, hasnt faired so well

anyways carkitter, i assume from your post that the UI for Z800 is basically similar to the K750. the only exceptions, the connector and the camera i don't mind much as well. so it's decided then. my new phone would be...

depends what you really want out of your phone, on flea bay, you can get the v800/k750 pretty cheap (uk).There are many alternatives available from SE and other phone manufactures..
if your planning to use the phone as an mp3 player, you can write off the k608 straight away, no slot for memory stick (i do like its looks compared to the k750) getting a black one will be difficult ( w900 black in the uk from the high street is virtually impossible, shame really as i think phones look beautiful in black imo)
