hi people. i have just registered here even i follow the forum sometimes. i have a K750i and dust problem at screen so i disassembled the phone and cleaned it. (both sides)
now it seems dust free but i have recognized that there is a black spot on camera view and it cannot be gone by cleaning. (please see photo)

i opened it and tried to clean again but same result.
i had similar problem in my p100 digital camera and it was renewed because if this..
do anyone know what to do? i would be glad if someone help

maybe you could have damaged the sensor by aiming the seeker at a very bright object like the sun or a pointwelder
or maybe im wrong

Try taking a picture of something 100% white, like a piece of printer paper or something like that and post it so we can see exactly how the spot looks.

Could it be an area of the lens coating has come off or something like that?

hmmm - no i dunno - all i can say, is email sony ericsson and see what they can do about it - send them the photos aswell - would probably be better if you lit the object better when taking the picture of the white piece of paper, because then the paper would be brighter.

Nah... emailing them is useless; all you'll get is a polite response to take it to the nearest service centre, they don't give a sh*t about users or remotely trying to help / guide you through mail (beside the facts that the guy/girl answering the mail it's just there to earn the bucks; he/she doesn't know more that whats is specified in the sales brochure about the product)...
