Hey,
I just finished reading multiple topics on the how-to-remove-Orange-startup-stuff-from-a-P900 subject, but I didn't get a satisfying answer.
Can I or can i not remove the start-up screen Orange logos from my unlocked, but branded, p900?

You need to get it debranded, then it'll get rid of all the orange gunk.

And the orange logo on the flip mechanism cover comes off with the juice from a lemon peel. Clever eh?

nope. Online debranding is not an easy thing to do. best thing is to find a place you can send it to. the turnaround is usually pretty good. Have a search.

I agree find a shop, that does it. Doing it over the net can render your fon inoperable. Plus you got recourse if the thingy goes south.

NO!
Problem is:
the files are stored in the ROM of the P900, located in the filesystem as drive a:\\ (you can view the files for example with the epocware filemanager).
In A:\\sysdata there are stored three files
Startup.mp4
Shutdown.mp4
Popcorn.wav
but the files are read-only and AFAIK it's impossible to change this attribute in the ROM (read-only-memory)
I have downloaded the orignal files and you can store them on your phone just for looking at.
But without 'debrand-hw' you are not able to write these three files to the ROM of your P900.
Sorry.
