Samsung said it has changed the graphic designs used in its latest "SKIN" SPH-V8900 handset model,after it was found to have copied Apple and Microsoft artwork.

Samsung admitted plagiarizing designs of the handset’s graphic user interface.Many graphic designers and other Internet users on various Web communities such as appleforum over the last two weeks have accused the firm of stealing the designs.

i was about to retaliate... but then i saw that grin. LOL.
not plagiarizing per se, just some of the designs... they tend to copy off of other manufacturers more blatantly than most. a fine example: the Nokia N73. to be fair, it looks tempting.

To be honest, I think it's come to a point where mobile phones have a typical look. We can't deny that almost every brand takes a little something from another. I don't think that's bad, at least for us consumers, cos it allows us to get the best of two different brands (ideally). I thought the graphic interface that was allegedly plagiarised by Samsung in the topic above actually makes the Samsung look quite appealing, heh...
Anyway, kudos to @axxxr, you're always on the ball when it comes to the latest IT news, I always wonder how you do that. Keep up the good work!
