Some of the methods
Fox News channel uses to spread lies and misrepresent world news,its a disgrace to the worlds media.If such a news channel exsisted in a country with which the u.s administration was not on good terms with,they would have jumped in to say how un-democratic that country was ect...Bill Oreilly should be locked up in a mental institute plain and simple.

peace bruv, I 101% agree with you not too surprsing at all nower days espeacilly when cnn showed a 10 year old video showing a group of iraqis partying and eating sweets and then the cnn shows it in 2001 making out they were celebrating the fall of the twin towers, lies like that can make anger and war, so is this what the cnn wanted? I though they were a peaceful democratic people? I smell somethink wrotten in denmark. anyways bruv I can't view that video at the moment as I'm posting from my pocket pc, so unfortunately I can't comment on the video sorry. peace akhi

god, the streaming on this thig is awfull, I have been watching for like 20 min and only 5 min of the prpgram has been shown lol.
Anyway i get the general jist of it, and have to say its typical american shit (the kind u find only on us tv). I study media so can say allot about this, but also this peice we are seeing is mediated so it does show us to worst of the worst, but even so there is truth behind it.
One of the main problmes is the american culture, these days allot of people dont give a shit about what they are watching, they just want entertainment, this means that ratings for the news is falling etc, so most tv channels like fox have tried to make it more interesting and entertaining by putting on very strong opinioned anchors and reporting what can only be described as mindless dribble. This has resulted to it being along the same lines as jerry springer. Althoguh for us uk folk this is not the news its just a shit channel which promotes republican ideologies (i think its the republicans) for the americans it is basically the only way they will get the news.
No offence to any americans like ecs etc but you guys have awfull tv especially the news. Last time i went to america I watched the news and it pissed me right off, it only borderes the truth and promotes its own ideologies rather then those which should be established to give a fair sided view to any argument they decide to promote and broadcasts.

i've got a slow connection at the moment. But I've always hated fox since they started INTEROGATED rather than interviewing people.
They dont let the person speak, they twist words, and the basically throw in things that are not relevant!
For example, this one guy said that the troops shouldn't go to Iraq if they are forced to.
Then the anchor man was like, You are not an american, you do not believe in democracy, American gave you your rights, you are a selfish man. And that guy didn't even get a word in.

there is no such thing as unbiased news reporting these days, everyone has an agenda. Even those bastions of equality, fairness, and honesty, the BBC, have slipped into political machinations and shenanigans.

FOX News is a resoundingly biased channel. They are more in the line of 'newstainment' than objective reporting.
I am a member of

@meths
The BBC has its faults, as you say no news agency is perfect, but I would take the BBC over FOX News any day of the week.
