> royal mail a disgrace

not sure have this been on thread before,but royal mail refusing responsability for a package they damaged but blaming it on the sender,i recently received a package but was badly rip open and the phone battery was missing,wrote to RM put in a claim and thats the reply i got.has anyone experience this before?

Well, I sent a phone out on RMSD. Problem was when they received it, the package was open and the charger and manuals had been taken. I did put a claim in and luckily received £40 back

i guess i must be unlucky ones i put in a claim filled in forms send them the package as i got it and the cost of a replacement battery with a print out and they still refuse its their fault

If it's an expensive item, i always sent it recorded and so far had no major issues.
