Greetings

A K750 was working. It now fails to boot. The only noticable behavior is the LED at the top of the phone blinks after the power key is pressed.

1 quick blink
pause
8 slower flashes

Is there a secret decoder ring that explains the problem?
Is there some way to perform a HW reset?
Does this require a trip to a repair depot?

Thank you, Gregface. Good suggestion.

We too thought it could be the battery. Unfortunately, does not seem that simple. We have 4 of the devices. Have moved the device to different charges. Have moved the battery to other devices. Have moved other batteries into this device. Same failure all the time ... almost.

Periodically the screen goes white when the power button is depressed. Duration is very short. Perhaps 1/10 sec. Cannot determine the stimulus for the white screen.

Any other thoughts or suggestions are welcome!
