Just been looking around google about phones in Japan, they are amazing, the speed of the phones and what they can do. For example The Foma network allows you to download whole songs at mp3 quality in seconds, lets you see the person that you are talking to in a video call and you can even get a rotating camera that you can leave at home and control from your phone to check on your pets!
Why can't we in the UK and other places outside Japan have this type of technology too. It would be amazing.

id love to live in japan, they are like ahead of the time right now. they prolly already have a prototype of the playstation 4 on the shelves somewhere, even though they are bringing out playstation 3 soon lol.

@drift - Yeah . . . 'ramen' (noodles) ! I remember when I was watching this Japanese show in cable way back in '94, I was laughing at the way their handsets looks like . . . mostly clamshell, and unbranded (?) . . . till I saw how they've introduced the 3G thing at their end at that time . . which only came at my end more than a DECADE after . . .
