As I was watching this very interesting issue - Use of Celfone in the Gasoline Stations won't make a SPARK to make the station EXPLODE ! Shown in the Discovery Channel via the show - Myth Busters ! They made numerous tests if the 'myth' is really TRUE . . . fortunately . . . it's NOT ! Your thoughts on this, specially for Esatonians who works in a Gasoline Station !

i always use my phone in a petrol station, if the petrol station exploded when i did use my phone there, i must have missed it or something...

In the UK we have a show called 'Brainiac Science Abuse' (you can guess the content from the name, obviously science experiments etc).

Well anyway they filled a caravan with loads of petrol (Gasoline in American) and put 100 mobiles phones in and rung them all.

Hey nothing happend.

They wreckoned it was static build up from clothing people are wearing like shell suits and certain materials.

@JN - mate, what was the episode of Myth Busters? man i love that show.. maybe havent arrive here yet the episode that you mention

anyway, cell phone wont create any spark though, but something other than that.. and it happened in my country, the bumper of a car suddenly melt down, on the gas station .. cant remember what was the causes of it.. but surely, is not cell phone..

@quick - I've seen it yesterday afternoon, around 3-4 pm . . . I think we have the same time zone as I live in Manila. I forgot the title, I just saw these 2 guys (1 always wears a cap and has a long blonde beard). Welcome to Esato dude
