No water damage, no bad falls.. still on the thumb pad (Flip inner side) the "Y" and "Z" keys swapped :-( .. as in pressing Y gets you Z and vice versa.. service center was no joy.. they gave me that nasty 'why dont you get it replaced instead of asking us what is wrong with it' look.. for them replying as to 'how & what' caused the problem- IS NOT AN OPTION.. Jokers wont accept that they are nincompoops !! This message was posted from a S700

I had the same problem with mine. When I press OK, i get a zero and other random things. But I think it is a software issue, not hardware because the same thing happens when I took the flip off and used "virtual flip." I don't feel like doing a reset or formatting the phone, but I assume that would fix it. Hope this helps.

Ohh ! So that means, just a hardware (flip) replacement might not be tho solution !? .. what a waste :( This message was posted from a S700

try rebooting... my p910i keyboard sometimes acts like this and just a simple reboot fixes it
I also think this has been fixed in some firmware update...

do soft update and then format - you`ll be sure if it is a hardware issue (still no joy) or it was a soft issue.

Hi

That sounds like a setting issue rather than a hardware issue. Your keypad might be QWERTY but you have the settings on QWERTZ and that does it for you. I have a Hungarian edition, with the QWERTZ keypad, but I installed the ENglish Pack on it, so by default it came with the QWERTY settings. I reset it to be QWERTZ, and now all keys are what they should be.

Hope this helps, I think you can find the settings in the Control Panel somewhere.

Cheers

Ben
