Hi,
I know that I need a cable (not the one supplied in the box) to flash the firmware. I've checked at davinci site and the cable is so expensive. US 29.99

I only want the cable for flashing W800/k750 , may i know whats the cable name and where can I get it cheaply ?

Look on eBay for a cruiser / fighter K750i unlocking cable, that should do the job. If you are using DaVinci you are able to use the supplied DCU-60 cable for flashing / unlocking.

One thing I dont understand is why people have to pay davinci or others to flash their phone ? With the cable and firmware , why still need to pay davinci ? Care to explain?

You are paying for their time and programming expertise in producing the flashing software. They have to buy the phones to test their software on. You can't expect them to do all that for nothing! They need to make a living!

All of what DaVinci offer can be done for free with programs on the net.
