Hello, does anyone know of or have any Vodafone WAP/GPRS settings I could use on my phone to access the internet for free?
Im sick of paying pounds and pennies just to look at the news.

you'll be lucky!
I consume around 30-40mb a month on my k-jam with Vodafone and the best I have been able to do is take a bundle of free data from their "I'm leaving vodafone team" in lieu of a phone upgrade since all their phones are branded these days.

I really don't like this vodafone branding too.
My first and the last experience was V800. I was getting used to it but unfortunately I lost my fone.
From there I decide to never by branded fones.

/quote]Hi, thesim,
though I hate vodafone big time and have a k750i with o2, I do have a kind of back-up workphone on Ready to Go with vf... It's a v600i and I recently noticed that for some reason
vodafone (here in Ireland at least) seem to be unable to handle the latest opera mini versions, both the official one and the hack 1.20! It's quite nice. I am not charged any connection fee when on opera mini and instead of 2cent/kb I am charged
around half that - some wapsites even load at 0kb (???) and I am not charged at all! Actually, it got me curious, and so descibed the situation to one of their tech team (afraid they might catch me later, and charge me delayedly)! She explained that once you don't use vodafone live! as your portal, and use an add-on browser you mightn't get charged, or might be charged less than the advertised 2cent/kb... However, another staff-member said that's nonsense... and so on...(No wonder they "lost" twentyeightbillionpounds, is it?!)...
So, in other words, I am not sure, but currently I can surf the web for hours, loading 2, 3, 4 mb in a session and I pay maybe 50 or 60 cents... And that's all I should say...( and remember, this comes from Ireland, the european centre of designed incompetence and whogivesashit)
