Do you guys drive up to the service centers when you experience a problem or do you send your phone through mail to them?
My closest service center is pretty far away.

I just rang Sony Ericsson U.K. customer services up & they gave me the freepost address to send the phone to.
If you post the phone off to them take it to the post office & get proof of postage.
It came back less then a week later via special delivery.

@tupac - Here at my END, I usually go directly to the 'authorized'
service center - Semicon. As the mall is very near my place, actually it will just take my 15 minutes to walk from my place to the mall itself . . . but I would rather take my rollerblades with me to reach the place . . . faster! I think there's not much problem with mailing the fone/handset, however, there are some possibilities that the fone 'might' be damaged during the transport - might be dropped etc.

I've just mailed my phone off to the "sony repaire centre" although the delivery address is for a logistics company in oxfordshire..... anyone know why this is?

ACR logistics is just their current repair centre. As far as I understand its outsourced and they've had a couple of horrendous companies doing it for them in the past (if anyone remembers Celestica in the days of the T610 hiss!)
