I was just thinking about if "Phone connection monitor" has to be in the "start" in Windows XP? (It is on my computer by standard) Will removing it make the syncing with Outlook on my P900 using the DSS-25 difficult or even not possible?

no, you just will need to start it befaure you want to go and sync... Maby it even starts automaticly when you connect the phone...
